Trail 7, the main connector from Gaylord to Mackinaw City, runs right through town with easy access to everything you need to enjoy your ride in Northern Michigan. From Indian River you can ride to anywhere in the state trail system.

Trails head out in all directions from Indian River offering any number of loops and day rides. If boon-docking is your thing the area has many miles of two tracks and back roads to explore. Easy access to gas and many great dining opportunities along the trail make this area one you will want to come back to often. First time?
